Why coming to Mexico for cave diving?
Cave diving training is the main activity of Ghost Divers, followed by sidemount ad technical diving programs. There are two great advantages to learn cave diving here in Mexico, in the Yucatan peninsula.
First of all, you will be part of the biggest community of cave divers, sidemount divers and cave instructors at the top of their game worldwide! You can earn your certification with your instructor, then dive with other divers and become more end more expert every day!
Second, but not less important, the largest cave systems on the planet are here! The variety of the environment provides the best training conditions for all levels, from cavern diving to no-mount cave diving, as well as technical cave diving!
Deep drop-offs in the ocean and deep sinkholes are perfect for open water decompression dives, making of the Riviera Maya the best locations where you can access to any kind of technical course.
Are you committed or just motivated?
I always ask my divers and students why they are interested in this kind of diving, because it’s not my job to convince you to go underwater underground! I need to understand your intentions and evaluate your attitude, in order to safely teach you and guide you towards your limits! Motivation is about “willing to have fun”, everybody is motivated… until they reach the first obstacle. Commitment is “willing to make sacrifices” and it’s what allows you to give it all and overcome the obstacles!

I will help you to get best out of yourself. The inner challenge is the most rewarding experience, but requires you to be in control of yourself and aware of your surrounding. If you follow my lead, you will learn things that you didn’t even know were possible! What is technical diving?
My favorite definition of technical diving is to “adopt special equipment and procedures to complete a mission”. Therefore, even a shallow dive on a reef could be a technical dive, if it complies with the basic standards.Technical diving is about “how you do it” , rather than “where you dive”!
