He’s extremely professional and knowledgeable, and I always felt completely safe diving with him. Even on guided dives, he takes the time to share valuable tips that help you become a better diver—without ever being overbearing. I came across Davide and the Ghost Diver YT channel last year when I was trying to improve my side-mount setup. I subscribed and really appreciated his no nonsense approach and his sense of humor. Fast forward to September this year when I had a chance to go to Tulum. I messaged Davide and arranged a 3 day 1 on 1 session to cover gear setup, buoyancy and propulsion techniques. This was everything I could have hoped for. We connected before my trip to set out objectives and during the trip I could see and feel the improvements in terms of trim and how I could move more efficiently through the water. Highly Recommended for Cave Diving Training! My fiancée and I had long wanted to go to Mexico for our cave diving certification. We did a lot of research online and on YouTube, and that's where Davide Marchetti at Ghost Divers immediately caught my attention. His YouTube videos were incredibly informative, demonstrating great diving techniques and offering valuable tips on equipment configuration. I learned so much just from watching them. This led me to contact Davide by email, and I got an immediate response. Since we have children, two dogs, and live in Sweden, we had very specific dates that we could travel. Within just 24 hours, Davide had solved the puzzle and booked us a 10-day course that fit our schedule perfectly. Davide's help went far beyond just booking the course. He also offered to assist us with accommodation and transportation from the airport. From the moment we booked our trip until we arrived, Davide was always available to help with any questions we had. I had high expectations before we arrived, but after spending almost two weeks with Davide and his colleagues, they truly exceeded them. They are incredibly skilled in all aspects of diving and are highly pedagogical, both in the water and during land drills. I can't recommend Davide at Ghost Divers highly enough. Ghost Divers was recommended to us by our dive shop on Cozumel. My son and I did two dives with them in the Playa Del Carmen area. We did Kukulcan and Chac-Mool, pretty simple, shallow dives but, fun, beautiful and interesting. Davide has the two things I think are most important when considering dive shops: safe mindset and customer service. As a cave diving instructor, it is clear that Davide is a serious, safe diver. It was clear that he was competent and safety minded. JUST as important, I want to dive with shops who act like the are having fun and enjoying working with the clients. Customer Service matters. Diving is not inexpensive and I want to spend my money with companies who value my business and are having fun! I am very grateful to my dive guide Alonso and boss Davide these days. They are very attentive and enthusiastic, making me feel like I am back home. Alonso took good care of me. I am not very strong, so he helped me carry the equipment, take off my fins, took photos for me, etc. He always cared about and encouraged me. I cannot express my gratitude to him. He is a very good person. Davide also helped me a lot. He knew that it was not easy for a girl to dive alone. He comforted me and made me feel at ease. Because there was a problem with the deposit payment, he included me in the diving plan first and collected the deposit only when we met. Thank you very much. Everything is fine. I figured I'd put in the good word since I'm getting back into diving and remembered the experience. Super dives, I just finished 2 days, 4 cenotes dives with Davide- the whole experience was top notch. Davide is a professional, who tunes the dive up or down depending on patrons. He is knowledgeable and shares precious tips and advice. Other than the dives, I tremendously enjoyed our conversations, espresso and some great food.
